It was selected as a pilot municipality by the European Union for its successful implementation of sustainable and green urbanisation. Manisa Development and Improvement Association is also the local co-applicant. The project aims for NGOs and public institutions to cooperate on climate adaptation, therefore MAKGED has an important role in reaching out to NGOs in the local area. As an NGO, MAKGED will act as a contact desk for local NGOs on green future. CSOs will also be able to contact this association after the project. Through the online workshop, various organisations will be able to cooperate with each other outside the project.
